On brew day, I invariably forgot to sanitise something, until I made a Brew Day Checklist.
I personally keep all of this sort of stuff in my Evernote account, since then I always have it on my phone. And who goes more than five minutes without having their phone on them, right?
- Sanitiser
- Pyrex jug & fork for rehydrating yeast (Sanitise)
- Fermentation bucket and lid (Sanitise)
- Thermometer (Sanitise)
- Hydrometer (Sanitise)
- Large spoon or paddle (Sanitise)
- Airlock & lid (Sanitise)
- Clean cloth or sponge (Sanitise)
- Immersion heater if using (Sanitise)
(Obviously, you’ll need to prepare your wort first, whether using malt extract or All Grain method.)
